VENUE RENTAL
The Bijou Theatre produces private and corporate events designed and executed at the highest level. From creation to installation, our professional team is skilled at developing innovative ideas to reflect your style. It is an ideal destination setting for company meetings, presentations, movie premiers, performances, concerts, lectures benefits or charitable functions. Originally opened in 1910, this completely renovated historic theatre seats 202 people, and provides an intimate setting with state-of-the-art facilities. Our unique space includes 94 movie theatre style seats as well as 108 cabaret style seats. Rental of our property would include use of the main theatre, balcony luxury seats, lobby, concession area and green room.
AMENITIES
Sound and Lighting
The main theatre is equipped with computerized sound and lighting, as well as digital projection. A technical package, which includes house lights, house sound and on-site supervisory services of a technical director is available.
Catering and Bar Services
Our experienced team will be pleased to listen and assist you with developing your on-site menu and “run of show” to customize your unique needs.
Box Office and Ticketing
The full use of our box office facilities and ticketing capabilities (including web marketing and sales) are available for an additional fee.
Tables and Chairs
The Bijou has a limited number of tables and chairs for lobby and theatre events, which is included in the rental fee. We are also happy to make recommendations for outside rental options.

For-Profit Organization
Weekday Rate – Monday through Thursday – Up to 4 Hour Rental $700.00
Weekend Rate – Friday through Sunday – Up to 4 Hour Rental $1,150.00
Weekday Rate – Monday through Thursday – Day Rental $2,000.00
Weekend Rate – Friday through Sunday – Day Rental $2,250.00
Additional Rental Expenses Required:
$35.00 /hour for house manager of your event
$175.00 cleaning charge per cleaning
Additional Rental Expenses if Applicable:
$35.00/hour per movie technician
$50.00/hour per sound technician
$50.00/hour per lighting technician
$100.00 for a box office set up fee for all ticketed events (all tickets will be sold out of The Bijou Theatre Box Office); an additional $1.85 /per ticket printed fee and 5% credit card transaction fee per gross credit card sales.
$25.00/hour per person for box office support on the day of the event.
$350 for posters- design and printing of 50 color posters- Responsibility of hanging posters is that of renter
